Plot

Alex & Co follows childhood friends as they begin high school. Alex, a smart, fun-loving boy, thinks that high school is going to be one big party. The school head wants the school to hold its place at the top of the academic tables and insists students concentrate on traditional subjects, rather than music, singing and acting. Alex & Co have no option but to find their own way to express their creativity and talents.

Trivia

Out of all the seasons of the show, this one had the least amount of episodes and songs.
The main cast had the first table read of the season on August 24, 2014.^[1]
Filming for this season began in September 2014^[2] and finished in January 2015.^[3] The first promo aired on Disney Channel Italy on February 2, 2015.
All season 1 episodes end with "© Disney 2014", even though they aired in 2015, because filming took place in 2014.
